I agree with Gator, the game is better than some of the others that I have tried, but like he said, it doesn’t allow us to play against each other. We definitely need a two player game.
I did sit and play it for a few. Made me realize how terrible I will be if we do get a new Lingo game

Hi: All you lingo leaguers. I have missed all of my lingo friends very much. I still have contact with susan Reintenhouse who is a wonderful friend to me. Please bring back any form of lingo that you can it will be so appreciated. Hoping to be able to play my wonderful lingo again with many wonderful friends. Also I want to thank SueG for sending me bulletins and for all her help in trying to get our beloved Lingo back. For any who say “get a life”, may I add that friends are a wonderful part of your life and without friends, life would be very, very dull! Love to all my leaguers out there!

I was one of the original players in the League, and I miss Lingo so much…it was not only the most fun game I’ve ever played on the internet, but it was also a wonderful place for comaraderie…it was like one big family. That’s very hard to find on other internet sites.
Summer…I definitely agree…the MyLeague NEEDS A NEW LINGO LEAGUE!!

I love reading all of the posts from our lingo friends near and far. myelo66, thank you for your kind words. ihateyou needs to lighten up. (People did love sooner, I am sure.) Where are we at in re-establishing our game and chat lobby? Zeek, are you listening? You’d have a ton of devoted fans if you make this happen. Can you just give us an update now and then?
Kimmie, Jacey, Summer, Teter, lanny, Purr, dax, paper, adlebrain, Ched and so many others. Love you and miss you. Looking forward to the reunion some time and the first AFL tourney! Yes, I know. So many hated the AFL games, but I thought they were cool.

Nice to see you all. Jeff, we may have to rename you if you can pull off this ressurection. I think we had over 600 players in our lingo league at one time. It was a great, fun community, and, if you build it, THEY WILL COME.

Come along old chaps, enough is enough already, how much time do you need to get our beloved lingo up and running again. How can you sleep at night knowing all of the lingo addicts, are reciting 5 letter words and counting falling lingo balls, in order to try and sleep. In the good old days we did not need sleep, we would party in the lingo lobby. If we were not solving the world’s problems, we would be swishing, grunting and yippeeing.
I need to fill my time giggling with suger and wondering about the exact shape of Madeca’s bikini line. She was so vague as to how many were actually lasered that day! lol
Bring me back my lingo, bring me back my lingo, bring me back my lingo (which will bring me back BudDriver and Retro )
Oh, and for any of those that care, it’s a bloody miracle, the Canadian geese have GONE. I lie awake at night waiting for the honking to start, utter silence, praise be to the geese slayer!!!
So, zeek, word is that you guys have already the main servers and stuff set up, and are working.

I have been playing that Julingo game. How on earth pray tell, does that genius Nidni notch up like 12,000 points? Where is the justice? my best was like 5,500! lol
Come on Zeek we need you to get the show on the road. You cannot leave such a wonderful crowd of passionate lingo players, sitting on the curb, waiting in the hot summer heat for the lingo bus to arrive!
I am doing great Purr, thanks for asking. My girlfriend is having a baby early August, late July, so I am excited about becoming a father.
I haven’t heard from Rou, I forget her email. 
Hey, have you stayed in touch with Garrett recently? If you have, next time you hear from him, tell him I said hi, alright?

I have just returned from a trip to Europe for 3 weeks. I was hoping that I would find a new lingo site, that would enable us to re-unite with our lingo friends. It’s heartbreaking you know Zeek people, to be given a glimmer of hope and not see progress. Should we just jump off the edge of the lingo planet now? or should us poor lingo addicts, cling on for dear life, in the hopes that you really mean business! Put us out of our misery, it’s an awfully long leap you know.
Where is our Lingo? Please give us an update before Purr jumps off a bridge! I miss our gatherings. Please get the game and running!

Seriously, we here you. Trust me on this one. We are working on this. But it’s one of MANY projects in cue and we’ve just been swamped. The old code is unusable and requires complete reprogramming to work the way we want it to work. The game play will be exactly the same. Our plan is to build this to live inside of Facebook, so the community features could be a part of a more robust social space.

Always the gentleman, our Retro. We tend to get a little over anxious and obnoxious in our comments. Profuse apologies for that. Undoubtedly, our somewhat bossy attitude, is as a result of GSN not giving us any warning whatsoever before they axed the game! We don’t mean to vent our frustrations toward you, it is just that we miss the game so very very much! We do appreciate as Retro so rightly says, every, and all efforts you are making.
