Hi everybody! It seems forever that we have had any updates, but I still have hope. In the time that I have last typed to all of you, I have experienced the best and the worst thing that has ever happened in my life. On August 15th, 2009, I got married to a beautiful woman, that gave birth to my son on July 18th, 2009. His name is Logan and is as cute as can be lol. On September 3rd, 2009, I lost someone very close to me, my father. He died from an aneurysm in his lung. This was the absolute worst thing that has ever happened to me. It was just way too early for him to go, he was only 50. This was really hard to go through because whenever I was having a rough day, I would always head to lingo because it always seemed like everybody was wearing a nice smile
and that would always cheer me up. I ask that you keep my family and I in your prayers as we grieve this loss. Thank you very much.

man, chad, I thought things were bad at this end of the world, but losing a parent stinks!! Congrats on the baby and the wedding. I lost a friend(only 47) this summer. I knew her longer than my parents as they died 20 and 17 years ago. My 16 year old has turned into a delinquent and my 21 year old joined the Marines….they should have neutered me at birth I swear!!! So, now you are all up to date. Take care , love and miss you all….and maybe soon we’ll all be back to the lingo lobby!!

What is the latest word? We miss our lingo friends and the game. What is the current status? Are you still working on a Lingo game (with lobby!) or is the idea a dead thing now? We just want to know.

A random thought today, a google, and voila, some familiar faces! Happy to see there is such interest in Lingo. I was a typing newbie back then, and would love to play this game again. A chat room alongside is a definite must. Like some of you have said- a clone game would be awesome!

I, too, miss lingo plus. Isn’t there anyone who can make a re-make of the game? Someone here must know how to. I was more of a whammy plus guy at first, but then I slowly got attached to lingo plus.
Now I miss Ling A LOT more than simple whammy.

I, as well, miss lingo. It seems like YEARS since I have played it. I would love to see a lobby, chat room, and (if possible) a league as well.
I wasn’t an oustanding player, by any means. But, I would love to see this game (or something similar) available to us Lingo-Lovers!

The name “gatorsboi” is being set to rest. He had a good career, but it is over. He is on to big and better things. Haha, well to be honest it’s just cause I’m not going to be a Florida Gator. I will be attending USC (University of Southern California) next year. I’m so excited!

Hey adle!!!! It’s me skooler. and hey everyone else. Just wanted to stop by and see how everything is going for every body in the lingo lobby. I sure miss all of you, and hope that you have been ok these last few years. I have had my ups and downs of course, but I have gotten through my road bumps. I am about to become a senior in high school, and fill out my college applications, ugh. Well, I hope to hear from you guys in the future. It was great getting in touch with my old friends. Peace.
You will ALWAYS be “gatorsboi” to us. Besides, since you’re now going to USC, your new nickname would be “trojansboi” and that will set you up for some massive teasing.
Anyhow, best of luck in college and be sure to check out some of the great coasters they have on the west coast.

Does anyone here have a Facebook page? Or myspace? Maybe we can all keep in touch that way. Purr, my house is wonderful. The move went well but it is a real drag trying to sell the old one. We might wind up renting it out for a few years until the market recovers. Gattor congrats on college. I just really miss all of the friends I made in Lingo lobby. I sure wish zeek would get a new Lingo game going. But, otherwise lets keep checking in here. Love to you all.
