This somewhat reminds me of when twitter came out and people said they didn’t care to know what Joe down the street had for lunch. They couldn’t see the bigger picture of communication and using it not spammingly ( did I just make up a new word) but indeed for business.

Now, you’re going even further with reading the API. The key that people sometimes overlook is it’s not about the “tool” but about how you use the tool that matters. And that’s what you’re encouraging with this post.
