SiteConnect Australia is an enterprise-level iPad app created for the Australian Transcatheter Heart Valve team at Edwards Lifesciences. This app allows Edwards staff to track procedural success in detail through reports entered for each case where an Edwards Sapien 3 or Sapien XT heart valve was implanted in one of their partner hospitals. Edwards staff can see at a glance how well a particular hospital in their program has been doing, identify any problems with the process, and track surgical complications for clinical trials and regulatory compliance.
The case report form is editable on the fly, so that if a change needs to be made to the information collected for each case (whether due to company policy or regulatory requirements), the form can be updated without loss of data for previously entered forms and without having to release an app update.
